Role Summary

Lead shift-wise production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets in a TOPCon / PERC solar cell manufacturing plant while ensuring adherence to process standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise shift-wise production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Ensure smooth operation of TOPCon / PERC production processes including Diffusion, Oxidation, LPCVD/PECVD, Wet Bench, Screen Printing, Laser, and Inspection processes.
• Monitor process parameters, tool performance, and product quality to ensure compliance with SOPs and control plans.
• Coordinate with maintenance, process engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve OEE.
• Ensure adherence to production plans, shift targets, and cycle time requirements.
• Identify process deviations, initiate containment actions, and support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS, LOTO, cleanroom protocols, and statutory requirements.
• Act as Emergency Response Team (ERT) member during shift and respond to fire, chemical, gas, or operational emergencies.
• Maintain accurate shift production reports, yield data, downtime records, and shift handover documentation.
• Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support audits, customer visits, new product introductions (NPI), and process qualifications.
• Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen activities on the shop floor.
• Train, guide, and motivate operators and technicians to improve skill levels, discipline, and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or relevant engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of production experience in TOPCon / PERC solar cell, semiconductor, automobile, or electronics manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of experience as Production Shift In-Charge / Supervisor.

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of TOPCon / PERC production processes and manufacturing flow.
• Knowledge of process control, yield management, SPC, and OEE improvement.
• Ability to lead teams, manage shift operations, and resolve production issues quickly.
• Good communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.

Work Conditions

• Rotational shifts (24×7 operations).
• Cleanroom and high-volume manufacturing environment.
