Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Manager – C&I Sales to lead business development for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment in and around Nagpur. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in renewable energy or industrial sales, with proven expertise in generating and managing C&I solar projects. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through rooftop and captive solar solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of C&I solar solutions by identifying and acquiring new commercial and industrial customers.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers including plant heads, facility managers, procurement teams, CXOs, and business owners.
• Generate business through direct sales, referrals, consultants, channel partners, and industry networks.
• Identify opportunities for rooftop solar, captive solar, open access, and other renewable energy solutions.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations, and techno-commercial discussions.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, finance, and project execution teams to prepare customized proposals and ensure successful project delivery.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value contracts while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and MIS reports.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, government policies, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.
• Ensure timely collections and maintain strong customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, seminars, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in B2B/C&I sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Commercial & Industrial segment.
• Strong understanding of rooftop solar, captive power, open access, and renewable energy solutions.
• Established network with industrial customers, manufacturing companies, commercial establishments, consultants, and EPC stakeholders in and around Nagpur.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong business development, pipeline management, and closing skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nagpur and the surrounding region. Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of state electricity regulations, net metering, and C&I solar business models.
• Ability to understand customer energy requirements and propose customized solar solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling approach.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
